Preliminary Wrath Version 3.0.3d

November 10th, 2008

This will probably be the last release for a few weeks.  Wrath is here in 3 days and I have 2 70s which will be requiring my attention :P

And as you can see from the todo list, there’s a ton to do.  So, I won’t be releasing the next version until I’ve taken care of most of the L80 additions and fixed anything you guys find wrong with this version.

Fixed:

  • Fixed more TNS issues where TNS was referring to the Models page instead of the models on their own page.
  • Added Flametongue to buffs.  It’s with Totem of Wrath.
  • Removed talent templates which were no longer accurate.  If anyone has suggestions for talent templates, please post a link to a talent calc and I’ll consider including it.
  • Added Master Conjuror to talents.
  • Removed dot_gap from haunt duration.
  • Updated spell damage values for those of L80
  • Updated hit / crit / haste ratings required at 80 for 1%
  • Updated some Buffs @ 80.  Still have more to do once I get more data on these.
  • Removed Oils from Buffs
  • Readded SB -> Drain Soul

Known To Do List:

  • Fix other classes L80 buffs
  • Add L80 consumables
  • Add L80 items
  • Fine tune the SB -> Drain Soul model
  • Update L80 race stats
  • Add L80 enchants and gems
  • Update pet stats @ 80.  Half done already; I did skills.

The Haunt Talent, is change the damage on curse of agony to 60k. I know you said no more changes, perhaps this is an easy one. I don’t want to take up a lot of your time or anything, the spread sheet is AWESOME., but when I add Haunt everything goes up like 1k or whatever but CoA goes up 55k

Thanks.

RE: Opulus
Damage should go up. Most likely you have everlasting affliction which means your damage per single corruption cast goes up based on the everlasting affliction uptime you have specified on the dps sheet.

Thank you for correcting me. I have a question about Fel Armor: it was changed to use Spirit.
Surrounds the caster with fel energy, increasing spell power by 180 plus additional spell power equal to 30% of your Spirit.

and then Demonic Aegis affects the above numbers to be:
r1=198, 33%
r2=216, 36%
r3=234, 39%

I didn’t see spirit making any difference when I changed it on the Gear Buffs tab. To check I made a custom Shouler piece and I would interchanged 900 damage between Shadow damage and Spirit. DPS was increased when I put it on Shadow damage but no increase when I put it into Spirit.

Is there a way that you can just import item stats from Wowhead instead of putting them all into your spreadsheet? Seems like you could leverage their search/xml system. Then you wouldnt have to update for new items/etc.

There is a bug in the Searing Pain damage calculation. The crit damage bonus is multiplied by “crit_bonus” which is 0.03 from the meta gem. Instead this crit_bonus should be added to the crit damage bonus. The way it is now, crit has almost no effect on Searing Pain damage.

Anyway, thanks for this great tool!

Great spreadsheet. Been using it for quite some time now. Thanks for all the work you have put into it.

Ever think of supporting rawr? Seems with your knowledge you could make the warlock module awesome!!
